Mount Prospect at Beacon Hill was a new-construction residential development comprised of 31 single-family homes for sale completed in 2022. DRAW Architecture + Urban Design and HJM Architects Inc. designed the unique homes ranging from 1600 to 2400 square feet.
The development is located at 23rd Street and Tracy Avenue in the historic Beacon Hill neighborhood. The land was purchased via an RFP process from the city of Kansas City and LCRA. A 25-year tax abatement available to home buyers was put in place by the master developer. The project was financed with 20-30% developer equity plus traditional bank financing.
